Local League members attended the state League’s Century Celebration 2020 in Salem, Oregon, on March 7, 2020. Many were also honorees chosen for their outstanding participation in the League and in their communities in the past 25 years.

2020 is the year of the League’s 100th Birthday on Feb. 14, 1920. 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment giving women across the nation the right to vote. Both are big reasons to celebrate!

The Umpqua Valley League celebrated 100 years on Feb. 13 at the Roseburg Public Library.
