Time’s up for mailing in your ballot. Either use a drop box or walk it in to the Douglas County Clerk’s office and drop it off there no later than 8PM on Tuesday, May 19. Note: There’s new procedures at the Clerk’s office, so check out their webpage. Suggestion: Call the office first at (541) 440-4325.

State legislative candidates Cedric Hayden, Christy Inskip, Megan Salter and Shannon Souza are all invited to this Candidate Fair.

The public is invited to attend, hear the candidates’ ideas for improving our state, and ask pertinent questions in a casual setting.

The meeting is free and open to the public.

Commissioner Forum Now Online

Listen to Douglas County Commissioner candidates at the League of Women Voters’ forum.

A video recording of the Douglas County Commissioner Candidates Forum that was held on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018 at the Holiday Inn Express in Roseburg, Oregon is now available for viewing on the League’s YouTube channel.

Another Chance to Learn About #M101

Thank you for attending today’s public forum on Ballot Measure 101. Oregonians will vote on this measure on Jan. 23’s special election.

Please see our photos from today’s forum at the Umpqua Valley Arts Association in Roseburg. Presenters were Anna Willman and Rick Staggenborg, League members.

If you missed today’s very informative forum that explained both YES and NO sides of the measure, you have another chance to attend a similar forum in early January in the evening. Look for more information about this upcoming event.
