#GivingDecember

We’ve sent a letter to our faithful contributors and members. Please consider us for a yearend gift.

The League of Women Voters of Umpqua Valley has accomplished much in the past year. We’ve addressed gun safety, public-safety-mtg-2-18-15health care, mental health court, and the importance of services to young children. We recently sponsored an event at Umpqua Community College on Early Childhood Education and Care.

While we hold our annual membership drive at the end of each year, we would also like to reach out to those who would like to support our work with a year-end contribution.

This is an opportunity to bolster democracy in Douglas County by supporting an organization that does not promote or oppose political parties or candidates EVER. The League is an “issues” organization. We stand up for issues that affect all of us, from clean water to government transparency, to childhood education, and much more.

Please consider giving a generous year-end donation to support your local League of Women Voters. See directions below to make it tax-deductible. If you do not desire a tax deduction, make your check out to LWV Umpqua Valley or LWVUV. Either way, pleasemail your check to:

LWV Umpqua Valley
PO Box 2434
Roseburg, OR 97470

**If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation, please make your check out to LWVOR* and in the memo write ‘For LWVUV’. You will receive an acknowledgment in the mail.

*The League of Women Voters of Oregon (LWVOR) just ‘consolidated’ with its 501(c)(3), formerly the League of Women Voters of Oregon Education Fund, and is now fully tax-deductible organization under the IRS, State Corporation Division and Department of Justice.

Thank you for your support! We are looking Forward to Another Strong Year!

Happy Holidays From the Board of Directors & Thank You!
