The Libraries of Douglas County will be closing early in 2017 unless the Special Initiative 10-145 is passed.
It’s really a no-brainer, but so many people don’t know about it.
Kathy Shayler volunteered to be volunteer coordinator and we really need folks to knock on doors or sit a couple of hours at a library or post office or do phone work or computer work. There’s a lot to be done and not much time.
On the other hand, the job will be over before you know it!
If you are at all able to do anything, there is a volunteer training at the library Sept. 8th from 2 until 3:30 or so.
