New voter registrations must be made by Oct. 13, but you can update your information even on Election Day.

Those displaced by fire can still receive their ballots. They just need to get in touch with the County Clerk’s office to update their mailing addresses.County Clerk Dan Loomis said voters can update mailing addresses where they want the ballot to be sent, either online at or delivered to the Douglas County Elections Department in the Douglas County Courthouse, 1036 SE Douglas Ave., Roseburg. Voters in need of assistance can also call the Elections Department at 541-440-4252.

We hope all are safe. The League encourages everyone to prepare to vote. If your address has changed, you will need to update your voter registration before Oct. 13, the deadline to register. Visit the Secretary’s of State’s elections website to check on and update your voter information.
