“Gardens, scholars say, are the first sign of commitment to a community. When people plant corn they are saying, let’s stay here. And by their connection to the land, they are connected to one another.” – Anne Raver
The self-guided tour, with will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., will feature six gardens in the Roseburg area located amid the diverse landscapes of the Umpqua including along the river, tucked into a wooded hillside, under the big sky of our open valley and in neighborhoods in the heart of town.
Musicians will be playing at each garden, helping to bring out the magic of their surroundings. Artists will be demonstrating their skills and showing their wares, making the tour the perfect occasion to pick up a handmade gift for a special friend or occasion.
Tickets are On Sale Now for $12 and will become available on May 15 at the businesses listed below. Your ticket also will serve as a descriptive guide to our gardens, artists and musicians and will include driving directions and a map.

We’re very grateful to those who have planned, planted, weeded, watered and worried this spring to prepare their gardens for our tour. Please join us – and bring a friend or two – to enjoy the fruits of their labor and to recognize their meaningful contribution to our community.
Download and print this lovely flyer and post it somewhere people will see it. Thank you!
